Jennifer de los Reyes Silao has an extensive experience teaching children of all ages for over 2 decades. Currently, she is the Dean of College at Don Bosco College, where she is also teaching Professional Education and Social Sciences courses.
She has a track record in spearheading notable paradigm transformations in curriculum development particularly in the Teacher Education Program of Don Bosco College and a proven ability in conceptualizing capacity building and conducting teacher training.
Teacher Jen believes that her role as an educator is not limited to the content that she can impart but a great deal more to do with facilitating opportunities for students’ growth and for instilling a love of learning.
Highly influenced by the teaching philosophy of St. John Bosco, she firmly believes that—“In every young
person, even the most difficult; there is a vulnerable spot for good. The first duty of an educator is to find it. Love must always be the mainspring of the heart”.
