Behavioral Support

Upon initial consultation, the client will be scheduled for an assessment; an individualized program will be designed when the evaluation is completed. This thorough evaluation covers the client’s most socially significant behaviors, which need to decrease or strengthen.

Behavioral Teaching Solutions (BTS) targets to have program fidelity, consistent implementation, and parent coaching to motivate the entire family to get involved with the programming. This approach is proven to make an enormous improvement in the client’s overall development.

Early Intervention

Early Intervention (EI) is an intensive program for children with special needs 18 months through five years old with a diagnosis of autism, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), pervasive developmental disorders (PDD), other developmental disabilities, and challenging behavioral difficulties. With the focus on social-emotional development, the team works with the multidisciplinary team to guide the family in establishing the clients’ missing repertoires and improving pre-learning skills:

  • eye contact
  • joint attention
  • sitting tolerance
  • attending skills
  • completing simple tasks and
  • communication and social skills

Verbal Behavior

The approach focuses on developing each verbal operant (rather than on words and their meanings) and on the independent training of speaker and listener repertoires.

Skinner identifies seven verbal operants—echoic, mand, tact, intraverbal, textual, transcriptive, and copying a text—which functions as components of more advanced language forms. – M. Sundberg & J. Michael

Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA)

Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) is an indirect and direct observation of socially significant behaviors. A process of identifying possible pattern(s), function(s), and replacing this target behavior by teaching adaptive skills.

Social Skills Program

We offer a complete set of social skills programs for children and young adults with emotional or behavioral disorders, anxiety, depression, and other developmental disabilities using behavior analytic strategies while incorporating the Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). This program focuses on accepting and understanding personal and other peoples’ emotions, appreciating peer-directed activities, and establishing and maintaining self-management skills to have an attainable outcome of psychological flexibility.

School-based Program Design

For all students to be successful, a multidisciplinary team should work collaboratively. We use component-composite analysis to strengthen the weakest repertoires that the students need to become better participators in their learning environments. We also support all school implementers for consistency and to enable them to become more effective implementers.

Parent Support Group

You are not alone!

We understand that dealing with challenges is not easy. Accepting and talking about it will help parents understand their children’s needs to reach their full potential. We use a holistic approach based on behavioral science and techniques based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACTS) to understand everyone’s capabilities and available resources. Our parent advocates who have similar experiences facilitate the session by providing their backgrounds and scenario-based discussion. Qualified clinicians usually supervise the session. Furthermore, we strive to empower parents by giving them the chance to volunteer or share their inspiring stories with other parents comfortably.  We honor confidentiality by providing a safe environment for all participants.

Individual Supervision

Behavioral Teaching Solutions (BTS) offers individual supervision for aspiring Assistant Behavior Analysts and Autism Services Practitioner Supervisors.

Our team honors and respects cultural diversity while we practice professionally and follow ethical guidelines. We use the “model- lead- test” approach, a non-coercive method based on behavioral science, and other evidence-based strategies. We collaboratively design a supervision program to help set up the environment to guide participants to understand and apply behavioral principles while coaching them to become competent practitioners.

Group Supervision

Peer-directed discussion is an excellent way to improve confidence, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. We use the “model- lead- test” approach, a non-coercive method based on behavioral science, and other evidence-based strategies. The team believes that having a peer as an accountability partner encourages you to become more open and share your perspective regarding a specific concept. We promote healthy debate and facilitate crucial conversations for participants to improve their critical thinking skills.
